PulseGuard® has been developed to monitor your heart rate and alert you of any changes that may arise; it is not a medical device but can be used to assist people with conditions such as Epilepsy, Diabetes, PoTs & heart conditions.

It has been specifically designed to be used at night, to monitor the heart rate of an individual while sleeping. It records ECG accurate cardiac activity and alerts should the heart rate rise or fall above or below a specific individual pre-set level for each user. The event will then be recorded and can be sent in an email for later review.

PulseGuard® has been designed for use with the Mio Link or Mio Fuse heart rate sensors. The sensor can be worn either on an arm or an ankle. It is comfortable and very light, to allow the wearer a comfortable night’s sleep.

The Sensor connects directly to an iPad via Low Energy Bluetooth (BTLE), which is then detected by our application.

Features:

• All night monitoring of your heart rate in an accurate and reassuring way.
• Automatically alerts should a rise or fall of heart rate occur.
• Accurate recording of your heart rate for later review.
• Visual graph displaying heart rate rises and falls over a period of time.
• Easy to use interface specifically designed for use at night.

Important: - Please read below before purchasing this app

1. The PulseGuard® application has been designed and tested to be used with the Mio Link or Mio Fuse Sensors only, which can be obtained from Amazon or a good sports equipment retailer, We cannot guarantee that any other sensor will work with PulseGuard® and advise against their use.

2. As PulseGuard® is running continually during monitoring, We advise that PulseGuard® should only be used on a dedicated iPad as other apps running in the background may interfere with the accuracy of the app and cause false readings. The iPad should be connected to a power source during monitoring.

3. PulseGuard® has been created to use Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE) Technology which is only available devices:
• All iPad minis running IOS v7 or above.
• iPad 3 & above running IOS v7 or above.
If you try to use PulseGuard® on any other device it will not work.

4. This application is only available in English

5. An active Internet connection is required to email data for PulseGuard®
